AEY Response

Thank you for your continuous support as we try our best to adjust to our current circumstances. It has been more than challenging this past year, and we at AEY sincerely hope that you and your family are safe during this time. As a nonprofit organization whose goal is to assist young children with their academics, it is imperative that I make this statement in reference to schools reopening and our Back to School Supply Drive.

Our mission is to support low income students and if schools reopen, there is a great chance these students will not have the supplies that they need. If virtual education commences, school supplies are still needed to facilitate learning. To ensure the safety of our donors and ourselves, we made sure to implement a safe drop-off/pickup method for supply collection. All donations were sanitized after handling and are being stored until packing/distribution. We firmly believe in keeping our community safe and healthy as possible.

As far as our program operations, we are working diligently to find alternative solutions to function without physical contact. We will continue to monitor safety guidelines recommended by the CDC and State of Georgia for strategies for further advancement. Please stay safe and thank you again for your EXCEPTIONAL support of our efforts.

Giving Back

As the world continues to stand together to face the COVID-19 pandemic, AEY wanted to respond in these challenging times. Therefore, AEY will be committing 50% of our donations to COVID-19 relief for the local community. We will use these funds to craft masks, purchase/deliver essential items to designated locations and provide any additional support needed to other relief efforts.

Educational Outreach

Social Distancing has changed the way we are able to interact with students, but it hasn't changed our commitment to help. AEY is preparing to offer virtual tutoring for K-2 students who need extra help with their studies.

Community Outreach

We see every challenge as an opportunity and that empowers us to deliver the support the community needs, when they need it. In order for individuals who are high risk to remain safe, they must remain inside. We understand how that is a challenge, therefore AEY has partnered with local food banks to ensure those that may not be able to get food for themselves will have food delivered to them safely.

AEY will also set up food collection stations so that those who are able may donate items. Locations will be posted on our social media pages. Please follow us on Instagram for the latest updates. When donating items, please practice social distancing and stay safe. For those who are experiencing economic hardship and need grocery/essential items, contact us so that we may assist you.

However, if you would like to make a monetary donation, click the "Donate" button below. It will take you to our donation page where you can donate via Paypal.
